Solo Cleric Guide

The Solo Cleric

Take it, when you like to do things only by yourself and you don't like to be helped by other players and still you can farm very well or ever better comparing to other classes. You will kill mobs nearly as good like a Wizard and in addition you have a lot of useful buffs, that will maximize your killing potential. When you're bored you can still join a party, since other people will need the healing and buffs. You should know, that there are few subtypes of this kind of play style - I am talking here about something called hybrid, more info about this you will find in the further part of this guide.

Stats :

* Full INT - the best option. You will deal a lot damage, but of course less then a pure INT Mage (he has self buffs and passives that add Magic Attack - this is why a hybrid character comes in play, but that's not the time to talk about this). There will be available for you a lot of helpful buffs, so leveling won't be hard - you're full self-sufficient here. The only problem with this type of build is MP shortage, but there exist a way to manage with this.

* INT/VIT - my favorite. A bit less firepower than in the option above, but you get more HP and P DEF - so with heal spells you can tank few mobs at once. The MP exist here also like in the build above.

Skills :

You're a killer, so you need to raise skills, that will help you to kill mobs as fast it could be done. At level 40+ you can either stay on Priest path or change into Sorcerer and create a hybrid - you will get a lot of useful spells and buffs and at level 75 you can change back to your normal path; thanks to this you will maximize your killing potential and get a lot of useful skills (stun, freeze) that will help you in PvP.

Level 1-20

Holy Strike [+5] - Your main and only attacking skill, learn it.

Wisdom [+1] - Increase the WIS of the target by 10 points. Your first buff, it's very helpful since it increases the stat that you need at most.

Intelligence [+1] - Increase the INT of the target by 10 points. Another buff, you really need to get it.

Bless Heart [+1] - Increase the HP regeneration of the target.

Mana Control [+5] - Passive skill; increases your MP regeneration.

Level 20-40

Holy Strike [+10]

Divine Judgment [+1; more optional] - Gives 53 damage each second for 6.3 seconds. Get at least level 1, if you want to be a Priest then raise it till lvl 10, in other case leave it at lvl 1.

Fast Heal [+1] - Get it, only level one - you really don't need more.

Holy Barrier [+1] - immortality for 3 seconds. It very useful in pvp or when few mobs attack you at once.

Wisdom [+2] - Increase the WIS of the target.

Shield [+1] - Increase the physical defensive power of the target.

Bless Wind [+1] - Increase the moving speed of the target.

Bless Mind [+2] - Increase the MP regeneration of the target.

Bless Heart [+3] - Increase the HP regeneration of the target.

Enhanced HP [+5] - Passive skill; increases your HP amount.

Mana Control [+10] - Passive skill; increases your MP regeneration.

Cleric should never add INT. They add WIS.

Solo cleric doesn't need wis, they need int for damage, dumbhead

agree

Unless u wanna make a hybrid, maybe u may wanna consider putting 3 intel, 1 wis, 1 vit per 5 levels.

Anonymous said...

if your a human (solo) cleric the most logical step after that is going monk now monks need int for there damage* so going full int on a cleric isnt all that strange*

Anonymous said...

i add :1+vit,1+int,1+vit,1+int...

Anonymous said...

hey guys which one is better, Cleric -> Monk -> Inquisitor or Wizard -> Monk -> Inquisitor

Anonymous said...

i did half 2/5 wise and 3/5 int. Works real well and can tank a giant with ease

Anonymous said...

So.... don't use any other techniques?

Anonymous said...

Int adds m.atk N m.atk raises how much u heal by. Wis is useless cause all it does is increase ure m.def, ure mana regan, N ure mp nothing else go full int or 1int:1vit. Monk ftw

Anonymous said...

this is a guide for us noobs, putting profanities and other useless banter only shows the insecurities and ignorance of other players

Anonymous said...

Isnt a windstrike good for this build? it pushes enemy back then gets residual damage... thanks for the post the build seems interesting... (^-^)

I'm at 24 level, and my build is int and wis, and my skill atk are ice and fire... try it, it works.

I particularly do not like this build. I believe the best is to be priest Full Support.

The advantage is that you have a lot of buffs and will not be difficult to leveling alone. The disadvantage is the lack of MP, but you can supply it with equipment or using potions. Moreover, this build is used by players who make hybrid characters.

Anonymous said...

priest doesnt have aoe?

Anonymous said...

Please choose the best!! (I wanna know the best)

a. Priest = Full Support

So the priest need high wisdom (high wisdom = regain MP very fast)

b. Priest = Good Tanker

So the priest need high vitality (high vitality = high defeb=nse and HP)

Please choose the best!! (I wanna know the best)

a. Mage --> Cleric --> Monk

the Mage = full int (deal high damage and by the way it's no need to worry about the HP and MP , because of the passive skill, and this type good for PVP)

b. Mage --> Cleric -->

the Mage = 1/2 wis & 1/2 int (the damage is less but it's able to do continuous attack)

Anonymous said...

to BloodyFaith : I choose the option (a), because its good for "PK" mode. Deals high damage..!!!
Level 50 damage equals up to 5000 / attack!!

I like the full support priest!! It's very important to my team when hunting boss or mob hunting....!! Yay! Thanks Bloody!!!

OMG mage>cleric>monk is the best class to go for solo .Monks has got a very high amount of defense and are able to skill up the buffs of clerics so you are almost as good supporter as Priest. Go pure INT since it will help you and it does give you more heal power don't mess up with other stats since it won't help you and monks doesn't loose any Mp since it's attacks doesn't take any mp at all btw going cleric>priest just fucks everything up always go different paths, never repeat your path since you don't get much new skills and cleric>priest sucks in solo compared to cleric>monk or cleric>sorcerer

Anonymous said...

As I know, int make heal bigger than wis, if one heal is enough why we must give more??

full int or int/vit is good

I suggest mage>cleric>priest --- its nice to help yourself stronger and keep other people to live

Anonymous said...

I'm a pure int Cleric, following Full Support path and have no problems with soloing and have no need for pots at all, dont even carry any. When I do party, I have no problem keeping party mates healthy and still do a considerable amount of damage as well while having no trouble with my mana supply. Cant see what all this chatter about mana troubles is about. BTW, I make my own armor as well and when I need a better weapon and I'm not getting good wep drops, I make those too.

I suggest wizward>priest or cleric> sorcerer since you get a very good damage as well as great support skills.

Don't go full Vit it doesn't help you very much and you'll get terrible damage so take pure int for greater heals and damage

i am a priest and pure int... is it okay????
